Pudding River Watershed Assessment

Clackamas and Marion Counties, Oregon

Pudding River Watershed AssessmentESA Adolfson is completing a comprehensive watershed assessment for the 337,000-acre Pudding River Watershed in the Willamette Basin. The assessment employs the framework described in the Oregon Watershed Assessment Manual developed by the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB). ESA Adolfson is integrating existing information and supplemental field data to describe historical and current conditions for surface and ground water quality, fish populations, and aquatic/riparian habitat throughout the Pudding River Watershed. The final report and maps will identify key constraints on fish habitat and water quality conditions, summarize data gaps, and outline opportunities to address critical factors that limit fish populations. The final assessment product will include the report on watershed conditions and processes, habitat restoration opportunities, and Geographic Information System (GIS) data and maps. Information from the assessment will help the Pudding River Watershed Council develop prioritized aquatic and riparian habitat restoration projects.
