Pudding River Watershed Assessment

Clackamas and Marion Counties, Oregon

Clackamas and Marion Counties will use information from the Pudding River Watershed Assessment to develop prioritized restoration projects. ESA completed a 337,000-acre watershed assessment using OWEB’s framework detailed in the Oregon Watershed Assessment Manual. ESA integrated existing information and supplemental field data to describe conditions for surface and ground water quality, fish populations, and aquatic/riparian habitat throughout the watershed. The final report and maps identified key constraints on fish habitat and water quality conditions, summarized data gaps, and outlined opportunities to address critical factors that limited fish populations. The product included a report on watershed conditions and processes, habitat restoration opportunities, and GIS data and maps.
