Sammamish Town Center Mixed-Use Master Plan and EIS

Sammamish, Washington

The City of Sammamish undertook development of a 240-acre town center mixed-use master plan. ESA developed an integrated SEPA/GMA sub-area plan and EIS for the Sammamish Town Center, located in the center of the City. The plan includes development of the area into a mixed-use, pedestrian-friendly, commercial and civic center featuring a diversity of new housing types. Key environmental issues for the study area included: traffic, wildlife habitat protection, stormwater management, aquatic resource protection, and land use.

ESA assisted the design team with development of Town Center alternatives and provided environmental and land use analysis. We assisted with community outreach efforts, including presentations at public meetings and before the Planning Commission and City Council.
