California State Legislature Applauds Napa River Rutherford Restoration

ESA PWA's innovative work on the Napa River Rutherford Restoration continues to receive attention. On Monday, May 21st the California State Legislature formally recognized the Napa River Restoration Rutherford Reach project and ESA PWA received a certificate honoring their work and contribution to the project. Andy Collison and Jorgen Blomberg were in attendance to receive the award on the company’s behalf, and were thrilled by the overwhelming enthusiasm for this successful project. The project was described and received rounds of applause from the floors of both the Senate and Assembly. In addition, Jorgen and Andy explained the project and ESA PWA’s role to Governor Jerry Brown and a select group of senators at a reception featuring a bevy of wines brought in by the Rutherford Dust Society, the original project organizers and funders of the Rutherford Reach restoration. The Rutherford Dust Society was presented with a framed certificate for spearheading the project, while ESA PWA, project stakeholders and the participating landowners received individual certificates. ESA PWA's certificate reads “ESA PWA in recognition of their innovative design and technical leadership of the Rutherford Reach Restoration Project.”  Congratulations to the entire team!
